A pigment finish with Pistachio green from Earth Pigments.

The Stick Chair Journal No. 3 is now shipping (details here). One of the articles in the journal is about our house finish that uses dirt (artist pigment), soot (carbon black, Mars black etc.) and purified linseed oil. In the video behind the paywall, I walk you through the process, from mixing to application to rubbing it back.

Here are the ingredients I use in the video:

Lamp black/Mars black from Earth Pigments

Ercolano red from Earth Pigments

Viking purified linseed oil from Earth + Flax

Huck towels from ERC Wiping Products
