A few readers have asked how to give a gift subscription to this substack, “The American Peasant.” This link will give you an easy way to send a monthly or yearly subscription.

What’s ahead for The American Peasant substack? In the coming year…

• “The American Peasant” hardcover book will get published. And all paid subscribers will receive a free pdf of the book on the day it is sent to the printer.

• The next project for the book are the “icons” (see above) – these are fun and quick gifts. And a good chance to practice with the engraving tool.

• Once “The American Peasant” is released, I’ll turn my attention to the next big book project, which will be the second issue of “The Stick Chair Journal.” We’ll be building a Hobbit-esque chair as shown below.

• More swearing. Odd rants about moss. Shenanigans with polyps.
