Note: One of the benefits of being a paid subscriber to The American Peasant is receiving these updates on products in development. This last week I’ve been working on two new projects: a new deluxe version of “Roubo on Furniture” and a new version of our discontinued pinch rods.
First, “Roubo on Furniture.” After we sold out of our oversized copies of Roubo on Furniture in 2020 (and about one-fourth of the copies were taken without the vendor paying), I have wanted to make a nice version of this book that isn’t 12" x 17" but uses #100 beautiful paper, reproduces the plates in their full sepia glory and is tough enough to have in the shop (but pretty enough for a fine library).
This new edition, coming in March, is on its way to the printer. It’s going to be expensive ($125), but worth it. Translating Roubo is the most expensive and sprawling project we’ve been involved in. And it remains ongoing. Don Williams and his crew are working on the re…
